PMI-CPM Award Program

PMI-CPM announces the first PMI-CPM Innovate Project of the Year Award - Click here for details

PURPOSE:  Find and promote innovation in project performance managment.  This award can be for a project that does or does not require compliance with the ANSI 748 standard.  It must show an innovative approach in the application of EVM and can be either commercial or government projects.

Intent Guide

On February 20, 2007, The Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Kenneth Krieg sent a letter to NDIA endorsing the “Intent Guide.”  The “Intent Guide” documents a single interpretation of the management value, intent, typical attributes, and objective evidence typically associated with each of the EVMS guidelines.  This document was formally published in November 2006.  See attached Intent Guide Letter to NDIA.

 

Walt Lipke selected for Eric Jenett Award

At the International Integrated Program Management Conference held 5-7 November, 2007 Walt Lipke was presented the Project Management Institute (PMI) Eric Jenett Award for Project Management Excellence.
